Customer Service Representative
Job Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the Sales Reps and working on assignments with scheduling and estimating.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintaining a friendly customer relationship with High Profile Accounts as support person to CR Reps and liaison in the supply of packaging to accommodate production in multiple locations throughout the US, Canada and Mexico.
- Write customer orders received in various manners, ensuring that all required production and billing specs are included and accurate.
- Assist Sales Reps/CR Reps in processing of orders and plan completion based on customer-provided forecasts.
- Coordinate sample needs with design team for new project development and quotation. Forward drawings and CAD samples to customer for necessary approvals.
- Process customer delivery requirements against WIP advising production planner, shipping and customer of changes as they occur.
- Coordinate inventory replacement for customers utilizing outsourced consignment warehouse facilities for JIT deliveries avoiding inventory outages and downtime.
- Assist in reconciliation of information and input of data in various systems.
- Assist in development of job orders
- Participate in special projects as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities
- Meet with Sales Reps, Customer Service Reps, VP Sales and President to review account prices, upcoming changes and expectations.

Quality Manager
Job Summary: This position is responsible for managing/assisting the safety, quality, and production functions to ensure that all products and materials meet customer requirements and/or specifications. The position will focus on auditing and verifying all business processes with the intent to improve.
Essential Job Functions
- Actively assist in managing the quality control function and staff.
- Assist in apprising management of internal and external customer quality problems and provide recommendations for improvement with follow-up for results.
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformities
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
- Document any deviations from documented quality processes.
- Verify GMPs, SOPs, WIs, that relate to our QMS (ISO 9001) and FQMS (ISO 22000)
- Where gaps are found, report issues to Quality Superiors or Director of Quality & Safety and work to rectify issues.
- Assist improvement projects utilizing Lean and Six Sigma quality tools.
- Actively assist in developing and implementing training programs throughout the facility on Quality Control & EHS.
- Operate lab testing equipment to perform applicable testing on products as well as raw materials.
- Assist in apprising management of internal or external quality, or EHS issues and provide recommendations for improvement with follow-up for results.
- Review production methods and develops; and implements changes to facilitate enhanced safety, quality, and productivity.
- Assists Quality and Production functions to develop and meet applicable goals.
- Assist the Printing function with the collection and interpretation of all color control data.

Maintenance Mechanic
Summary: Applicant must have a broad knowledge of maintenance of machinery with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar manufacturing environment. The candidate will provide ongoing maintenance of equipment as well as troubleshooting technical problems. The position is for 1st or 2nd shift.
Scope
- Analyses mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
- Reviews production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, changes over equipment to new sizes or performs scheduled maintenance.
- Tests equipment to check operation. Clears jams and works on eliminating operational malfunctions in machinery. Tries out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime.
- Examines, tests, and measures product from assigned equipment for quality specifications, using gauges and instruments, and records data on appropriate forms. Checks product for visual defects.
- Makes preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action.
- Examines defects and analyzes spoilage causes and, where possible, takes corrective action.
- Works with the other maintenance personnel on recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed.
Required Skills
Essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing area or equivalent experience as an automobile Mechanic.
- Proficiency with troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools and trade type tools.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in tight confined spaces and or while on a ladder.
- Flexibility in changing priorities and working independently.
- Able to work a flexible schedule/shift, if needed.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
- Basic Electrical skills/experience, and automation control.
Preferred
- Journeyman mechanic
- Graduate from Vocational Institute with specializations in mechanical operations.
- Experience with corrugator/laminator die cutters, printing press, folder gluers and other plant equipment a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment and effectively interact with all personnel in the plant.
Additional Information: All candidates are required to participate in emergency call-in requests as the need arises. Maintenance personnel are expected to work OT, weekend OT and holiday OT as the need arises.
Electro Mechanical Technician
5 day work week 9 hours a Day (Tuesday to Saturday)
Job Summary: Record, troubleshoot, and repair daily problems associated with the electro-mechanics of various types of machinery.
Essential Job Functions
- Troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems: Laminators, die-cutters, gluers, conveyors, strappers, etc. Waste System is a plus.
- Troubleshooting of PLCs, motor drives, relays, contactors and more electrical and control components.
- Perform electro-mechanical repairs such as: motor, pumps, conveyors, motion systems, pneumatics and hydraulics systems).
- Record maintenance repairs and PM’s work orders on CMMS. Knowledge on Maximo IBM, SAP or MaintainX is highly preferable.
- Programming PLCs (Studio5000, Siemens TIA).
- Working with and without electrical schematics: ability to identify missing feedback signals on systems without schematics using instruments.
- Follow LOTO rules and additional safety key points.
Additional Responsibilities
- Keeping the engineer informed about daily repairs and machinery problems.
- Work on miscellaneous assignments as required.

Job Qualifications
- Proficient in working with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs
- Understanding of circuits.

- Ability to multitask and work under manufacturing plant rhythm.

Laminator Operator
We are a Litho-Laminated Corrugated Box Manufacturer located in Paterson, NJ. We are seeking an experienced Laminator Operator to join our team on 3rd shift. This is a great opportunity in a growing, fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer service. It is a unionized shop.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead Crew/team to safely produce high-quality laminated sheets that meet or exceed production standards.
- Closely follow ALL company Safety Procedures including LOTO, OSHA and Food Safety requirements.
- Lead crew/team in clean up and performing Scheduled Maintenance.
- Ready the Laminator for jobs; perform make-readies. Lead crew/team to effectively get machine ready for operation.
- Monitor Laminator constantly during production to ensure smooth operation, free of web breaks, jams, defects, and quality concerns.
- Monitor web temperature and adjust heat, pressure, water levels as needed.
- Primary Trainer on all aspects of laminator functions – Subject Matter Expert
- Ensure production and quality goals are constantly met or exceeded.
- Read, interpret and accurately follow job bag instructions for each job.
- Conduct regular QC checks in accordance with Quality Control procedure (moisture/caliper).
- Ensure accurate production records are maintained both digitally and manually.
- Follow QC procedures with a Customer Focus perspective
- Follow Company Policies under Union Contract.
- Adaptable to learning various machines/equipment and techniques, and work as an effective team leader with various teams/crews.
- Lead crew as needed to ensure continuous safe operation, and production standards are met.

- Basic math skills, adding/subtracting and applying imperial measurements.

Die Cutter Operator
We are a Corrugated Box Manufacturer located in Paterson, NJ seeking an experienced Bobst Master 1.7 Die Cutter Operator. We have a great opportunity in a growing, fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer service. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work 3rd shift. It is a unionized shop.
Skilled in various cutting and creasing styles (bar/cut scores, perforations). Understand and read instructions and carton blueprints.
Job Responsibilities
- Ability to check and prepare new and existing dies, adjust, and configure appropriately.
- Inspects each die for proper print to cut register and all knifed or cut-scored areas must be closely inspected for clean cutting.
- Folds all creases 180 degrees to detect splitting or bursting.
- Delivers fully and properly inspected, quality product to Shipping Department, assuring no mixed Lays/labels are placed on a skid.
- Monitor board quality, including - loose liner, warp, dimensions, caliper, and any other defects. Report any quality problems and sort as necessary to keep the machine running.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
- Notifies material handlers of stock requirements.
- Makes ready job according to customer requirements, on job bag. Obtains approval to run jobs
- Completes inspections, tickets, counts on waste, downtimes on cards, enter data on shop floor reporting system.
- Examines defects and analyzes spoilage causes and, where possible, takes corrective action.
- Works with the maintenance personnel on recurring equipment malfunctions.
Physical Requirements
- Stooping under machinery, entering confined spaces, and climbing ladders.
- Occasional bending, reaching and twisting.
- Ability to regularly lift, stack, bend, walk, use pallet jack, and carry up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Operator of a Die Cutter (Bobst 1.7 Master Die Cutter)
- Proficiency with troubleshooting, repairs, and adjusting machine to meet the specifications
- Ability to use hand tools and trade-type tools.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary and willingness to work different shifts
- Flexibility in changing priorities and working independently
Forklift Operator
Accurate Box is looking for full time Forklift Operators to work various shifts (1st shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm / 2nd shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am / 3rd shift 11:00pm to 7:00am). Hours are Monday to Friday and overtime is required if necessary. Forklift operators are full-time positions with benefits after 90 days.
Requirements
- Must be able to move products on pallets within the company and safely stack them
- Must be able to unload and load trucks for transportation
- Must be aware of OSHA safety requirements while operating
- 5 years’ experience driving a forklift
- Must have an active Forklift Operator Certificate and Forklift Operator License
- Be able to work either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift
- Overtime is required: 10hr workdays are common but 12hrs is a possibility
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have reliable transportation
General Helper
General Helpers at Accurate Box hold various important positions in several different departments. Workers are placed on the assembly lines for various shifts on several different machines. Hours are Monday – Friday with 3 different shift options (1st shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm / 2nd shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am / 3rd shift 11:00pm to 7:00am). Overtime is required when necessary. General Helpers are full-time positions with benefits after 90 days.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., be on your feet all day, and work in a fast pace environment
- Constant attention to the product on the machine
- Follow directions on processes with a machine in the correct order
- Must be safety oriented and always aware of your surroundings
- Be able to work either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift
- Overtime is required: 10hr workdays are common but 12hrs is a possibility
- Must be at least 18 years of age
