Paterson, NJ – June 2022 – Accurate Box Company has chosen four organizations to donate towards for its third annual donation giveaway! Each organization was recommended by an Accurate Box employee and received a monetary donation to help support its cause.
The chosen organizations were hand-picked by Accurate Box’s Charity Review Committee, comprising of the employees who won last year as well as members of the management team. Here are the four organizations that Accurate Box chose to support this year:
- Willie L. Peterkin Foundation: This foundation dedicates its time to rebuilding basketball courts in the Paterson community to give kids a place to play. During the holidays, they also provide food and gifts to the community. Accurate Box has numerous employees who grew up and still reside in Paterson, and the team is proud to be donating towards helping the children in the community.
- Wigs for Kids: This organization takes hair donations to create wigs for children suffering from hair loss. The donation will help families who are struggling financially since wigs can be expensive. We hope this gift can give kids hope and strength to fight their battle no matter what they are going through.
- People Park Reformed Church: This is a local church in Paterson that helps people and families in the community. Due to the pandemic, it has been hard for the church to get resources for its members and the community. The donation will go towards some much-needed repairs to the church and to purchasing resources for the children and families in need of help.
- Binder Autism Center (part of St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital): This center helps children and families impacted by autism. They evaluate, diagnose, treat, and socially integrate children with autism, and they provide support services, resources, and programming to families who have children with different conditions of autism. The donation will help the center to sustain and improve individual and community health, with a special focus on aiding those in need of financial help.
We want to thank each employee who suggested these nonprofit organizations for Accurate Box to help. All of the donations were issued on behalf of Accurate Box and the employee who made the recommendation.
