Accurate's Investments Keep Firm Hard At Work

Accurate Box's Chairman Charlie Hirsh recalls a curious question one of the production workers at the Paterson, New Jersey litho-lam plant posed recently. "Tell me, Charlie. All my friends are out of work. How come we're so busy?," the worker asked Hirsh. The worker couldn't reconcile news reports about the faltering economy and knowledge of friends that had lost jobs and even homes during the downtime with his own work experience in the plant, which can be summed up in three words - "full speed ahead."
It's no wonder then that employees at the company recently presented Accurate's top management team of Lisa Hirsh, company President; husband Mark Schlossman, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and Charlie Hirsh with a large "thank you" card, expressing appreciation for the continued investment in the company and its future.
Accurate Box Purchases 7-Color Sheetfed Press

KBA North America announced that Accurate Box Company Inc., located in Paterson, New Jersey, has improved its automation and productivity with a new KBA Rapida 162 64-inch 7-color sheetfed printing press. Accurate Box is a leading high-graphics corrugated box manufacturer specializing in custom full-color litho-laminated packaging. The installation of the new press took place in late fall of 2008 with full production beginning in January 2009.
"Our niche is the production of exceptional high graphics corrugated packaging for nationally-recognized brands such as Kellogg’s and Pepsico," says Lisa Hirsh , president and CEO of Accurate Box. "This type of packaging has become more brilliant and requires higher color reproduction due to the growth of the big box retailers like Costco and Sam’s Club. Our job is to produce the logos and graphics with the highest quality on a strong corrugated material that will withstand shipping, storage, and display, and entice customers to purchase the products."
