This position is responsible for assisting both the quality control and production functions to ensure that all products and materials meet customer requirements and/or specifications. The position will focus on areas that need improvement and will develop new practices to improve. They will assist the Director of Quality Control and Safety in ensuring that all quality and food safety issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Job Functions:
- Actively assist in supervising the quality control function and staff.
- Maintain appropriate lab testing equipment to perform applicable testing on product as well as raw materials.
- Assist in apprising management of internal and external customer quality problems and provide recommendation for improvement with follow-up for results.
- Assist the quality management to ISO 9001, to reflect current business practices.
- Review production methods and develops; and implements changes to facilitate enhanced productivity and quality.
- Assists Quality and Production function to develop and meet applicable goals.
- Assist in the maintenance of a Food Safety Program.
- Interact with internal and external customers to resolve Quality and Food Safety Issues.
- Actively assist in developing and implementing training programs throughout the facility on Quality Control.

Job Qualifications:

We are a litho-laminated corrugated box manufacturer located in Paterson, NJ seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic for its manufacturing facility to perform repairs on manufacturing plant and utility equipment. The mechanic will work a 4 day work week with 12 hours a day (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) for 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Overtime hours required in a unionized shop.
Applicant must have a broad knowledge of maintenance of machinery with a minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing environment. The individual will provide ongoing maintenance of equipment as well as work on trouble shooting technical problems. The position will be on either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift assignment with the ability to any shift if needed.
Job Functions:
- Analyses mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
- Reviews production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, changes over equipment to new sizes or performs scheduled maintenance.
- Tests equipment to check operation. Clears jams and works on eliminating operational malfunctions in machinery. Tries out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime.
- Examines, tests, and measures product from assigned equipment for quality specifications, using gauges and instruments, and records data on appropriate forms. Checks product for visual defects.
- Makes preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action.
- Examines defects and analyzes spoilage causes and, where possible, takes corrective action.
- Works with the other maintenance personnel on recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed.

- Performs manual tasks such as assisting mechanic in removing, maintaining and installing machine parts. Will assist in the placement of parts, tools and materials to and from the job. Lifts holds parts, cleans up areas, etc.
- Helps mechanics or other tradespersons with dismantling, overhauling, and assembling of equipment and machinery.
- Under the direction of the tradesperson, cuts, grinds, and files parts of metal stock. Operates metal handsaw. Uses pedestal or drill press for rough work. Checks parts for visual defects.
- Makes preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action.
- Examines defects and analyzes spoilage causes, with the assistance of the Maintenance Mechanic, where possible, takes corrective action.
- Works with the other maintenance personnel on recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed.
- Cleans and washes equipment and machinery. Scrapes paint, grease, and accumulated material from equipment. May also be assigned cleaning and sweep-up duties in maintenance shop.
- Performs routine oiling and greasing of maintenance shop equipment.
- Sharpens and reshapes drills, chisels, scrapers and redresses rough grinding wheels.

It is a unionized shop.

This position is responsible for supporting the Sales Reps and working on assignments with scheduling and estimating.
Job Functions:
- Maintaining a friendly customer relationship with High Profile Accounts as support person to CR Reps and liaison in the supply of packaging to accommodate production in multiple locations throughout the US and Mexico.
- Write customer orders received in various manners, ensuring that all required production and billing specs are included and accurate.
- Assist Sales Reps/CR Reps in processing of orders and plan completion based on customer provided forecasts.

Litho-Laminated Corrugated Box Manufacturer located in Paterson, NJ is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver/Yard Truck Switcher, for a full-time job in its manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Receives shipping schedule for ensuring shift and operates truck tractor to move filled trailers to yard parking area and bring empty trailers to appropriate docking space in plant shipping dock areas.
- Makes sure that safety chocks are in place during loading process, are removed for return to parking area, and then replaced while trailer is parked. Places and removes dock boards as required.
- Sweeps out trailers after placement at dock of loading.
- Assists in the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Switches trailers on yard as necessary in Paterson Plant and assists in the loading and unloading of product as well with the use of a sit down forklift.

Qualifications:
- Must meet DOT standards for truck drivers, have clean driving record, and pass company pre-employment physical and drug screening test.
- Must have at least 2-3 years of switching experience in a confined space environment.
- Certified to drive forklifts, with experience of 1-2 yrs.

Accurate Box is looking for full time Forklift Operators to work various shifts (1st shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm / 2nd shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am / 3rd shift 11:00pm to 7:00am). Hours are Monday to Friday and overtime is required if necessary. Forklift operators are full time positions with benefits after 90 days.
Requirements:
- Must be able to move products on pallets within the company and safely stack them.
- Must be able to unload and load trucks for transportation.
- Must be aware of OSHA safety requirements while operating.
- 5 years’ experience driving a forklift.
- Must have an active Forklift Operator Certificate and Forklift Operator License.
- Be able to work either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift.
- Overtime is required: 10hr work days are common but 12hrs is a possibility.

General Helpers at Accurate Box hold various important positions in several different departments. Workers are placed on the assembly lines for various shifts on several different machines. Hours are Monday – Friday with 3 different shift options (1st shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm / 2nd shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am / 3rd shift 11:00pm to 7:00am). Overtime is required when necessary. General Helpers are full time positions with benefits after 90 days.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., be on your feet all day, and work in a fast pace environment.
- Constant attention to the product on the machine.
- Follow directions on processes with a machine in the correct order.
