Accurate Box Raises Funds for Breast Cancer Awareness

To spread awareness of breast cancer, Accurate Box employees were invited to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Week.

Paterson, NJ – October 2015 – In overwhelming support, 98% of employees wore pink on event days to spread awareness of the disease that has affected many families across the world. Events highlighting the importance of exams and educating employees about breast cancer were held at Accurate Box locations. Employees submitted donations to the Susan G. Komen Foundation at each event and shared inspirational stories about friends and family who overcame their battle against breast cancer.

Accurate Box will match all employee donations and is proud to support Susan G. Komen in its mission to save lives and end breast cancer forever. According to ww5.komen.org, an estimated 231,840 cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed in the U.S. in 2015*. However, breast cancer today has a 99% 5-year relative survival rate due to generous donations to organizations like Susan G. Komen that fund breast cancer research.

Accurate Box extends a special thank you to employees for their tremendous support and generosity in donations. Accurate Box will continue to match all employee donations made to Susan G. Komen throughout the month of October and will continue to be a strong supporter of the women and their families who fight against breast cancer every day.
