AGFA Graphics recognizes Accurate Box for excellence in environmental printing.
July 30, 2010 – Paterson, NJ – Accurate Box Company was presented the Greenworks Environmental Recognition Award from AGFA Graphics for excellence in environmental printing.
AGFA Graphics is a leading supplier in the printing industry and is committed to reducing the printing industry’s environmental impact. AGFA supplies Accurate Box Company with vegetable-based inks. These inks contain vegetable oil such as soybeans or corn oil which act as substitutes for petroleum as the pigment carrier. This substitution has reduced the number of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) released into the air during printing. AGFA recognized these changes and awarded Accurate Box for demonstrating environmental responsibility while providing the best manufacturing practices.
